Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or registering for Armstrong Swimming clinics and camps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Registration and Participation

Registration Requirements

  • All participants must complete a registration form with accurate information
  • Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
  • Registration is subject to availability and acceptance by Armstrong Swimming
  • Full payment is required to secure your spot in a clinic or camp

Participant Requirements

  • Participants must have basic swimming competency appropriate for the program level
  • All medical conditions must be disclosed at registration
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions and pool rules
  • Appropriate swim attire and equipment are required

Payment and Fees

Payment Terms:

  • All fees are in Canadian dollars and subject to HST
  • Payment is due in full at time of registration
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers
  • Prices are subject to change without notice

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participant Cancellations

  • More than 14 days before clinic: Full refund minus $25 administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before clinic: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before clinic: No refund
  • Medical emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Armstrong Swimming Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule clinics due to insufficient enrollment, facility issues, weather conditions, or other circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another clinic.

Liability and Assumption of Risk

Acknowledgment of Risk:

Swimming and aquatic activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury, illness, and property damage. By participating in Armstrong Swimming programs, participants (and parents/guardians for minors) acknowledge and accept these risks.

Limitation of Liability:

  • Participants assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages sustained during participation
  • Armstrong Swimming, its coaches, and staff are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss
  • Participants are responsible for their own medical and accident insurance
  • Armstrong Swimming is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat coaches, staff, and other participants with respect
  • Follow all safety rules and instructions
  • Arrive on time and prepared for sessions
  • Maintain appropriate behavior at all times

Armstrong Swimming reserves the right to dismiss any participant who violates the code of conduct, without refund.

Photography and Video

Armstrong Swimming may photograph or video record clinics for coaching purposes, promotional materials, and documentation. By participating, you consent to such recording and use, unless you explicitly opt-out in writing.

Medical Information

Participants must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and emergency contact information. Armstrong Swimming reserves the right to refuse participation if medical conditions pose a safety risk. In case of medical emergency, we will contact emergency services and the designated emergency contact.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Armstrong Swimming website, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and training materials, is the property of Armstrong Swimming and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

Modifications to Terms

Armstrong Swimming reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
